Where is the ceremony taking place?
The ceremony will be taking place on Strauss Island, at Elk Grove Regional Park. There are several entrances, once you arrive follow the parking lot down until you see the signage for 'The Shaw Wedding'.
There is limited parking in the reserved lot, as the driver feel free to drop off guests at Strauss Island and find parking at the other near by lots.

What time will the ceremony begin?
Ceremony begins at 3:00pm sharp.
Please arrive by 2:30pm, taking your seats by 2:50pm.
Where is the reception taking place?
The reception will be at a relatives residency.
We are having a backyard wedding, where cocktail hour, dinner & dancing will take place.

What is the dress code?
The dress code is FORMAL.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. Please check the weather and dress accordingly!

Are children invited to the wedding?
Due to limited space and to create a relaxed atmosphere, our wedding is primarily an adults-only event.
We’ve made a few exceptions for children in our immediate family to attend.

Where should I park?
Parking is limited, we recommend carpooling or using a ride-share service; such as Uber or Lyft.
We can help if you are not tech savvy and we can arrange rides.

Ceremony - Parking will be available near the Strauss Island entrance of Elk Grove Regional Park. Keep an eye out for 'Shaw Wedding' signage.
Reception - Parking will be residential street parking along side the house and cross streets.
Are there nearby accommodations?
Yes! We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn. See the 'Travel & Stay' section for booking details and/or other options.

Will there be food and drinks at the wedding?
Absolutely! We’ll be serving Mexican Cuisine as the main course, with sides & salads; along with drinks, including his & her cocktail beverages and a variety of beer & liquor options.
