Their journey began on March 7, 2017, in an unexpected place—a garage in Alaska. Kevin, a skilled pool player, was focused on his shots, while Ashley was on the sidelines, ensuring everything ran smoothly with the double elimination brackets. Ashley couldn’t help but notice his skill and confidence. She thought he was cute, but since she was moving away in a month, she decided not to make a move. They exchanged brief introductions, but nothing more happened that day.

A few days later, they crossed paths again at the Arctic Warrior Zone, the local watering hole. A simple conversation quickly revealed a deeper connection, but they parted ways without exchanging contact information, leaving them both wondering what might have been.


Fate intervened once more on St. Patrick’s Day. This time, Ashley took a chance and asked for Kevin’s number. That was the start of something beautiful, knowing there was no turning back, and diving in on what could be.

By April 4, 2017, they were officially a couple, but just a few weeks later, on April 30, Ashley had to leave for a summer job to Seward, AK. While Kevin, active in the Army, had to stay on base at Fort Wainwright. Despite the distance, their bond only grew stronger.

After reuniting in September, they spent the next 3.5 years together in Alaska, overcoming challenges and growing closer.

In 2019, Kevin proposed on their two-year anniversary, and they married two days later in a small military ceremony on April 6, 2019.

Their story continued as they moved to St. Louis, MO in January 2020 in hopes of starting a family there, which in turn was short lived, as Kevin was offered a position , 6 months later that resulted in moving to White Lake, MI where they started fresh from not knowing anyone to growing together side by side with shared passions.


One of which was fostering dogs that filled their home with joy. Eventually, they realized they wanted to start growing their own family. In February 2022, Apollo, a sweet rescue puppy, came into their lives, marking the beginning of that dream.

In 2022, their story continued to blossom as they returned to St. Louis, to be close to family & friends - where they continued to build their dream life together, adding an ATV to their collection of fun toys. Their life of adventure, love, and shared dreams is something they treasure every day.

Now to this day, they (with Apollo) live their lives in their 2nd home nestled in House Springs, MO. Ready to build their family and cherishing every moment together, whether it’s going on hikes, spontaneous dates, weekly Jeep rides, or even just staying in, cuddling, and watching movies.

It is now the time, Ashley and Kevin are excited to celebrate their love with the wedding ceremony they’ve always dreamed of.

They can’t wait to share this special day with family and friends on April 5, 2025.
